What is Inequality?
An inequality is solved almost exactly like an equation, with one crucial exception: multiplying or dividing by a negative number reverses the direction of the inequality sign.
How it works
The tool isolates x, flipping the sign automatically when it divides by a negative number, and reports the solution as an interval. The number line uses a filled dot for ≤/≥ and a hollow one for </>, matching how the answer would be written.
