What is Taylor Series?

A Taylor series approximates a function near a point using its successive derivatives there: f(x) ≈ Σ f⁽ⁿ⁾(a)/n! · (x − a)ⁿ. Adding terms makes the approximation agree with the function over a wider interval.

How it works

Each coefficient is an exact symbolic derivative evaluated at the centre and divided by n!, so no finite-difference approximation is involved. The polynomial is then given both as an expression and as a list of term-by-term contributions.
