Weeks Between Dates Calculator
Work out how many whole weeks (plus leftover days) lie between two dates.
What is Weeks Between?
A week count is a day count divided by seven, but the useful form is usually weeks plus a remainder: 23 weeks and 4 days answers “how far apart” in a way that 165 days does not. It is the measurement behind project phases, rental and subscription periods, and any schedule quoted in weeks.
How it works
Both dates are normalised to local midnight so clock time cannot shift the result, then their difference in days is computed and divided by seven: the quotient is whole weeks and the remainder is the leftover days. Dates may be given in either order — the tool orders them itself rather than returning a negative count.
