What is Triangle Centroid?

The centroid is a triangle's balance point: the intersection of its medians, and simply the average of the three vertices.

How it works

We average the x coordinates and the y coordinates separately — G = ((x₁+x₂+x₃)/3, (y₁+y₂+y₃)/3) — and plot the point with the triangle on the coordinate plane.
