What is School Week?
A school week is five school days, not seven calendar days. That single difference is why a syllabus that says “week 7” can be a week ahead of the ISO week number on the wall planner: a half-term break removes days without removing a week, and a public holiday on a Tuesday does not push every later week out by one.
How it works
The week number is `(school days before the date ÷ 5) + 1`, with weekends and any holidays you list taken out before the division. The date the block began is shown as a real date so the number can be checked against the school's own planner, and the progress bar places the week inside the year.
