What is Wrap Text?

A wrap/unwrap utility: wrap mode reflows words to a max width, unwrap mode joins hard-wrapped lines back into paragraphs.

How it works

Wrap greedily fills lines up to the width (paragraph breaks preserved); unwrap collapses newlines within each blank-line-separated paragraph.

  1. Enter your input. Type or paste your input into the field above — the tool responds instantly.
  2. Review the result. Output updates live as you type. Everything runs entirely in your browser.
  3. Copy or download. Use the Copy button to grab the result, or Download to save it as a file.

Examples

Reformatting long lines

Wrap a wall of text to 80 characters for email or code comments — or unwrap wrapped text back into single lines.

Common mistakes

Splitting URLs and code

Wrapping can break long URLs mid-string. An option keeps unbroken sequences (URLs, long tokens) on one line.

Frequently asked questions

What wrap width is used?

Any width you choose, defaulting to 80 characters; wrapping happens at word boundaries.

Does unwrap merge paragraphs?

It joins wrapped lines while preserving blank-line paragraph breaks.
