Coordinate Plane Worksheet Generator
Generate coordinate plane worksheets — plot points, name quadrants, find distances.
What is Coordinate Plane Worksheet?
Coordinate-plane practice covers three linked skills: plotting and labelling ordered pairs, reading which quadrant a point falls in, and finding the distance between two points that share an axis. Every question needs its own drawn plane — a coordinate question without axes is a memory test rather than a geometry task.
How it works
Each problem carries its own mini plane, drawn at the range you choose with a square grid so equal distances along x and y look equal on the paper. Plotting tasks list three or four distinct points; quadrant tasks never place a point on an axis, so the answer is always one of the four quadrants; distance tasks are generated axis-aligned, which keeps the printed answer an exact whole number of units instead of an irrational square root. The answer key shows the same planes with the points plotted and labelled.
