What is Years Between?
A year is a calendar quantity, not 365.25 days: the same dates one year apart can be 365 or 366 days depending on whether a leap day falls in between. Counting whole years and then the remaining months and days gives the answer people expect from “how many years apart”, and it is the same arithmetic an exact age uses.
