Net Present Value (NPV) Calculator

Calculate the net present value of an investment from its cash flows and a discount rate.

What is NPV?

NPV compares money today with money in the future. A positive NPV means the investment beats the discount rate; a negative one means it does not.

How it works

NPV = sum of CF_t / (1 + r)^t for each period t, where r is the discount rate. Period 0 — the initial investment — is not discounted.
