What is Minutes Per Day?

Study planners usually fail on the unit: work is measured in pages or chapters, but a diary is blocked out in minutes. Converting between them once, honestly, is the whole job — including the awkward cases where there are ten days left and you are away for four of them.

How it works

The total workload is units × minutes per unit × a difficulty multiplier, divided by the days that are really available: days you marked unavailable and weekends (if you asked for weekdays only) are removed from the divisor first. Rounding is always up, so the plan finishes before the deadline rather than a page short, and the session readout converts the daily minutes into 30-minute blocks for students who plan in pomodoros. The difficulty multiplier scales the total once rather than each day, which keeps the three levels strictly ordered.
