What is Random Numbers?

A random number generator for games, sampling, and giveaways. Choose a range, count, and whether repeats are allowed.

How it works

Numbers come from a seeded, repeatable PRNG (or crypto.getRandomValues when requested) with rejection sampling for the no-duplicates mode.

  1. Enter your input. Type or paste your input into the field above — the tool responds instantly.
  2. Review the result. Output updates live as you type. Everything runs entirely in your browser.
  3. Copy or download. Use the Copy button to grab the result, or Download to save it as a file.

Examples

Draws and test data

Generate 6 unique numbers between 1 and 49 for a draw, or a batch of random values for load-testing data.

Common mistakes

Repeats in unique mode

Drawing without replacement needs a range at least as large as the count — the tool warns when that's impossible.

Frequently asked questions

Is the randomness cryptographically secure?

The generator uses the browser's crypto random source when available, so results are suitable for non-security uses like draws and testing.

Can I allow duplicates?

Yes — toggle between with- and without-replacement modes.
