Legal & Compliance Generators
The documents a website, app or business needs and nobody enjoys writing: a privacy policy that matches what you actually collect, terms of service with a real liability cap, a DMCA notice a provider will act on, an NDA, a consent form, a DPA. Fill in the form and the document is assembled clause by clause in your browser. Every page carries the same warning, because it matters: this is a template, not legal advice, and it needs a lawyer's review before you publish or sign it.

About Legal & Compliance Generators
Legal documents go wrong in two directions: a template that promises something the business does not do, and a blank in a clause nobody notices until it is relied on. These generators are built to make both visible. Nothing is uploaded — the document is assembled in the page from the clause library, so confidential drafts stay on your device. Every field you leave empty is written into the document as a highlighted placeholder and listed above the output, so a policy that says "we share data with [[Third parties]]" is obviously unfinished rather than quietly vague. The clause text is written from the statutes and standard forms rather than paraphrased: the DMCA tool writes all seven elements a service provider needs before it is obliged to act, the CCPA tool uses the statutory category lists, the DPA tool names a real transfer mechanism with its supplementary measures, and the GDPR response tool attaches the Article 15 checklist for an access request. Each document downloads as Markdown under the filename it should be published with, and the employment, contract and consent tools state their own limits — local law varies, a handbook clause only binds where the contract says so, and consent has to be specific and separately given.

Frequently asked questions
Is this legal advice?
No, and every page says so before you start typing. These are templates with the blanks made visible, intended to get you to a draft that a lawyer can review quickly. Whether a clause is enforceable, what a regulator expects in your jurisdiction, and how a document interacts with your existing contracts are all questions only a qualified professional can answer.
What happens to the details I type in?
Nothing leaves your browser. The clause library and the document builder are plain TypeScript running in the page — there is no API call, no account and no telemetry on what you entered. The tools work offline once loaded, which is deliberate: a draft privacy policy often contains details you would rather not paste into someone else's server.
Why does an unfinished document show [[brackets]] instead of plausible text?
Because a policy that silently fills a gap with something generic — "we share data with our partners" — looks finished and may be wrong. A visible marker plus the list of remaining blanks above the output makes a half-finished document impossible to publish by accident.
How do I use a generated document?
Copy it or download it as Markdown, then paste it into your CMS, wiki, help centre or repo — the headings survive the paste, and the suggested filename matches what the document is. Read it against your actual practices before publishing, and cut any clause that describes something you do not do.
How often do these documents need updating?
Whenever what they describe changes — a new analytics provider, a new subprocessor, a change to retention, a new jurisdiction you sell into — and at least once a year as a review. Most of these documents carry a "last updated" date for exactly that reason: it is the first thing a reader or a regulator looks at.
