What is Quiz Randomizer?

Reusing the same quiz makes it easy to copy answers. Drawing questions at random from a bank, and shuffling the answer options within each question, means two students sitting the same paper cannot compare letters. The answer key has to be rebuilt with the same shuffle, otherwise it points at the wrong option — which is the failure mode this tool is designed around.

How it works

Each line is read as “question | correct answer | wrong answer | wrong answer”: the first field after a pipe is the correct answer and the rest become distractors, shuffled independently per question. A line with a single answer becomes a short-answer item with a ruled space to write on. The key is generated from the same shuffles, so it always names the option that is actually correct on the printed sheet.
