What is Student Picker?

A random student picker takes the “who answers next?” decision out of your hands and gives every student the same chance. The no-repeat mode matters: pure random picking can call the same student three turns in a row, which feels unfair and is, so the picker draws from a shuffled bag instead and only refills it once everyone has been called.

How it works

Your class list is shuffled and drawn from without replacement: each pick removes that student from the bag, and the readout tells you how many names are left. When the bag empties it refills and reshuffles, so a class of 28 is exhausted before anyone comes round twice. The list is stored in your own browser, so it is still there next lesson — nothing is uploaded and there is no account.
