What is Number Picker?

Random numbers drive raffle draws, seating orders, bingo and probability demonstrations, and the two use cases behave differently. Drawing distinct numbers is a shuffle without replacement — the right model for tickets and turn order. Allowing repeats is an independent draw each time, which is the right model for rolling and for genuinely free choices.

How it works

With repeats off, the entire range is shuffled and the first numbers are taken, which guarantees no duplicates; with repeats on, each draw is independent. Sorting is applied afterwards so the order of the draw is never confused with the order of the display, and if you ask for more distinct numbers than the range contains the tool tells you rather than silently returning fewer.
